Only some plots of land are suitable for pouring a structure’s concrete foundation with additional support. Soils with high organic content or soft clays are two types that often need to be addressed with a deep foundation solution. Integrating helical piers and helical piles into the design allows the compressive structural loads to be transferred into deeper soils to mitigate differential settlement over time.
Helical piles are a proven and tested technology, allowing construction with little to no disturbance to the surrounding area, unlike driven timber or H-piles, and generate no spoils like auger-cast, geo-piers, or engineered fill. Once the piles are in place, a rebar cage is built around the pile caps, and the concrete foundation pour can occur.
We can assist in the design and application methods best suited for your construction needs and have resources at the supplier and engineering levels to meet virtually any project demands, from the design phase to construction.
